It has recently crossed the 8 million sales mark out of which 6.4 million were sold in the domestic market while the rest accounted for exports. The performance, practicality and features on offer makes this scooter an exceptional value for money product.

Let’s have a look at the basic warranty policy of TVS Jupiter on its various parts.

The company ensures the highest quality standards in the manufacturing of the new TVS Jupiter, backing it up with an official warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase or during the first 50,000 km of run for the vehicle in the hands of the original retail purchaser.

The company’s obligation under the warranty is limited to repair and replacement, free of cost, of those parts of the vehicle which may have proven to be defective. In such cases, the company’s decision in terms of either repairing or replacing the affected part will be final.

Tips For Maintaining The Battery

• Cleaning the terminals – Dust, grime and even carbon gets accumulated on both the terminals require regular cleanup. Otherwise, it can cause oxidation which hampers the flow of the current.

• Check the Electrolyte level – This is specific to the lead acid battery type. It is a fluid which requires a certain amount of it to function properly. Do check it frequently and top-up if it falls below the “low” level.

• Regularly check the battery voltage – This is one of the most crucial aspects of battery maintenance. Check the battery voltage as per the schedule. If the voltage is less than 12.4 volts, charge the battery using recommended MF battery charger at TVS Motor Company Authorised Main Dealer / Authorised Dealer.

Proper battery maintenance is essential to ensure that your TVS Jupiter battery warranty remains intact. By following these tips into your routine, you can extend the lifespan of your scooter’s battery and enjoy worry-free rides.
