RaceCraft Evolves
There’s a lot to look forward to in the new RR 310. This new Apache bike now features adjustable levers on both sides with 4-step adjustability and a cruise control toggle button on the left side. The left handlebar also features toggle switches to control the MID which features a carbon fibre skin treatment on the borders for a sportier look.
Just beside the main projector lamps, the bike features Fully Functional shark-inspired Winglets that offer an authentic race-ready visual appeal, protection for indicators as well as high-speed stability since the winglets are designed to produce up to 3 kg of downforce. The new Apache bike now features a Bybre braking system on both wheels for excellent braking response.
You also now get an option of a Bi-Directional Quickshifter* working in both directions for seamless gearshifts. Next on the list is RT-DSC* (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control) that ensures ultimate cornering stability. We have also provided switch ability for Traction Control and Bi-Directional Quickshifter.
Furthermore, this new TVS Apache RR 310 also gets some of the segment-first offerings, such as with the Rear Lift off control, wheelie Control, Cornering ABS and Cornering Cruise Control.
Powertrain
The new TVS Apache RR 310 retains the same 312cc powertrain which is now E20 compliant. The company has worked a lot on this powertrain for refinement and a bump in performance figures with an exhaust note that is much throatier and bassier than before. It now comes with electronic throttle control with multiple ride modes. Here are its key performance figures: -

Right after the purchase, the rider can access Urban and Rain Mode. Sport and Track modes will get unlocked after a running period of 1000km (after the first service).
We’ve also made incremental improvements to the powertrain: -
• Airbox volume increased by 13%.
• Throttle body diameter increased.
• Increased volumetric efficiency.
• 10% lighter forged piston for a fast revving engine.
Design
Raw power alone does not win races; the new TVS Apache RR 310 takes pride with its lowest coefficient of drag. In terms of design, it gets a complete LED Headlight and taillight with a Bi-LED Technology Headlamp for excellent illumination ahead. A bigger wind visor featuring the Indian tri-colour strip is there on the right and SmartXonnect Badging on the left side.
The design changes are subtle in nature, but the overall profile has been made sleeker for better aerodynamics. A big visual highlight of the New Apache RR 310 is the transparent Anti-fog clutch cover. This is a segment-first to enhance the characteristic racing element.
