In September 2021, TVS Raider, the “Wicked Ride” arrived and its launch was as wicked as the bike itself. It was the first TVS Motorcycle to be launched on the company’s own metaverse platform – TVS Motorverse.

A Refined Performer
The TVS Raider isn’t the first 125cc engine that TVS Motor has developed and engineered. In fact, the company possesses more than a decade of experience on this platform. For TVS Raider 125, there’s a brand new platform in which all the internal components are new. Its 3-valve architecture is also something that’s totally new in this segment.
The bike is equipped with a wet multi-plate type transmission - the 5-speed gearbox not only enables the bike to cruise at higher speeds but also enhances fuel efficiency to maintain speeds where the engine revs at lower rpm. Furthermore, its Real-Time Mileage on the display helps alter the riding style to attain optimum fuel efficiency.
Thanks to the Integrated Starter Generator, the bike doesn’t burn fuel on long idling; the ignition is turned off and fired back with a quick pull on the throttle. On the riding front, TVS Raider 125 ensures a versatile riding experience with its two ride modes – Eco & Power. The Power mode is tuned for responsive acceleration and performance while the Eco mode makes use of every drop of fuel efficiently. The gearbox is tuned for tractable performance and the peak torque is available at just 6000 rpm. This low-end torque helps the bike do a 0-60 km/h sprint in just 5.9 seconds.
Tech-Loaded to the Brim
In sync with the times, TVS Raider offers a connected riding experience. Integrated with SmartXonnect, the bike interacts with voice assist, offers turn-by-turn navigation and allows call management along with 99 + connected features. All of this can be viewed on the large 5” TFT screen which is IP69K rated for providing the system with all-weather protection.
You get a dedicated USB charger and the fully digital instrument cluster with a trip meter, real-time mileage, gear position indicator, rpm meter and even distance to empty which is usually seen in higher segment bikes.
On the mechanical front, you get a Gas Charged, 5-step adjustable monoshock at the rear and 30mm Telescopic forks in the front that are tuned for soft and supple riding dynamics. Adding to the worry-free riding experience and impeccable safety of Raider 125 are the 240 mm front Roto Petal Disc brakes with SBT (Synchronized Braking Technology) for strong braking performance.
