Strong Performance
The feature-rich TVS Jupiter 125 is driven by a 125 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valve engine with an ECU-controlled ignition. The rear wheel is driven by a CVT automatic transmission, producing 6.0 kW and 10.5 Nm of peak power. TVS Motors has earned itself a reputation for refinement and the Jupiter 125 upholds that mantle with poise. The CVT transmission has been tuned for great low-end acceleration, making the scooter zippy and quick to respond in traffic.

The 2023 model of TVS Jupiter 125 keeps the buyers’ needs at the forefront and delivers on its brand philosophy of offering “Zyada” on every count. The new TVS Jupiter 125 has been designed with several class-leading features, starting with the largest under seat storage in the segment of 33L that can comfortably fit two full face helmets. You also get a spacious 2L glove box which lets you store small items safely on the go & makes them easily accessible, along with a USB mobile charger facility placed just besides the glove box.
The Digi-Analogue instrument cluster comes with first-in-segment features like average fuel efficiency and distance–to–empty indicator. The console also houses an Econometer that shows two riding style - Eco for linear acceleration delivering optimum mileage and Power for unleashing the full potential of the engine.
A big convenience highlight is the fuel filler cap that is placed right below the handlebar for access to the largest-in-segment - 5.1 litres fuel tank. It is a first-in-segment feature that not only makes re-fueling easy but also lowers the centre of gravity, thereby enhancing the ride stability and opening up a lot of room under the seat. There’s also a collapsible bag hook which makes carrying light baggage an easy affair.
Mature Design, Nimble Handling.
Built on a high-rigidity underbone frame that is light in weight and the majority of the external body - the front, rear fender, side body and apron are all made of metal. Thus, it has an all-metal frame that’s named “Metalmaxx”. Altogether, the 2023 TVS Jupiter 125 weighs 109 kg. The ground clearance stands at 163mm (15mm more than Jupiter 110). Also, the lights (Headlight and tail lamp) are all LED which is offered as standard.
In terms of ride quality and handling, TVS Jupiter 125 comes with the longest seat in the segment of 790mm, while the optimum seat height of 765mm allows comfortable ground reachability, making it suitable for everyone to ride comfortably. The scooter gets a gas-charged single shock absorber that aids for 3-step adjustability in the rear and in the front; the Telescopic shocks do the job and offer superb comfort while riding. Also, the excellent centre of gravity, (thanks to the under-floorboard fuel tank) helps in enhancing ride quality to a great extent. On the whole, it’s just the unique way TVS Motors develop its chassis that results in communicative handling.
