Terms and Conditions

These booking Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the booking of TVSM ICE vehicles (petrol-powered) listed on the Book Online section and form a legally binding agreement under the Information Technology Act, 2000, as amended, between You and TVS Motor Company Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act 1956 and having its registered offices at “Chaitanya”, No.12, Khader Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai-600 006 Chennai, hereinafter referred to as “TVSM”

For the purpose of these Terms, wherever the context so requires “You/Your” will mean any person who has agreed to place the Booking of TVSM ICE vehicle through the website. The term “We/Us/Our” will mean TVS Motor Company Limited.

  1. Booking

    By placing a booking with Us, you express Your intention to purchase the vehicle specified by You (“Vehicle”) and agree to be bound by these Terms. Your purchase of the Vehicle and delivery by Us will be subject to Your compliance with the Terms hereunder and other applicable laws, regulations and guidelines. Booking is subject to availability of the chosen vehicle at dealership.

  2. Booking and Full Payment Amounts
    1. The booking amount for the selected vehicle as mentioned on TVSM website shall be paid by You through the link provided on this Site. This shall be a non-interest bearing and will confirm Your booking. The same shall be construed as an offer from your end and shall be adjusted against payment of the final Vehicle price by You at the time of delivery. Upon the receipt of the booking amount by TVSM, we shall communicate the acceptance of the Booking, however, the acceptance of the Booking is not construed as completion of the sale of the TVSM vehicle as it is subject to the payment of balance amount, documentation requirements for registering of the vehicle at the time of delivery from the dealership.
    2. You will receive payment confirmation for booking via SMS and Email. You will also receive notification on DMS booking number and you will be contacted by the dealer to complete the invoicing process.
  3. Price of the TVSM Vehicle
    1. The Price displayed while booking on the TVSM website is only the ex-showroom price of the vehicle. The On-Road price is subject to insurance charges, registration charges, accessories charges etc. The final Vehicle price is the prevailing price as applicable on the date of delivery by paying the balance amount excluding the booking amount. The balance sale price (i.e. balance sale consideration) shall be paid directly to the dealer(s) notified by TVSM.
    2. Ex-showroom price is indicative and may vary at the time of purchase. Ex-showroom price is inclusive of GST. Additional accessories need to be purchased at the dealership. The On-Road price is subject to insurance charges, registration charges, accessories charges etc. This will be paid by You at the dealership. You may request for receipt for the same from the dealership.
    3. Please take note that TVSM is only receiving the Booking Amount as a facilitator to promote the sale between the TVSM dealer and You. The actual transaction of the sale is a contract between You and the TVSM Dealer to whom you shall be making the payment of balance sale price.
    4. TVSM shall not be responsible for any non-receipt of the Booking Amount due to technical or other reasons in the payment gateway or banking network issues.
  4. Finance
    1. Once you apply for finance, from that point, you will be governed by the T&C's of the financier. Please refer to the T&C's of the financier before proceeding.
    2. All information collected is as per the requirements of the financier.
    3. All documents and information will be passed on to the financier and will not be stored by TVSM.

    5. No-cost EMI offer
      1. This offer is valid on the ex-showroom price of Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 200, Zest & TVS Raider, Ntorq vehicles purchased on the TVSM website.
      2. This offer is valid for EMI tenures of 3 and 6 months.
      3. Additional charges for availing the EMI may be levied by the bank as per their policy. Please check the terms and conditions of your selected bank for details. The subsidy given is only on the interest component and not on the additional charges levied by the bank like PF, interest on moratorium and GST.
      4. Any additional terms and conditions, including conversion to the EMI, may be applied by the respective banks. TVSM will not have any involvement in the same.
      5. In case of any issues/clarifications regarding the loan, kindly contact your selected bank. TVSM will not have any involvement in the same.
      6. TVSM reserves the right to discontinue the offer at any time without any notice.
      7. This offer is applicable only on credit cards.
      8. Once opted for the EMI offer, no changes will be entertained by TVSM/ the respective bank.
      9. EMI facility will be applicable for selected banks' Credit Card holders only.
      10. For Cancellation terms and conditions, pls refer Cancellation policy on Our website.
      11. This offer (No Cost EMI) is applicable only on the ex-showroom price and for the balance amount including Registration Charges / Insurance costs etc. The dealer will get in touch for the payment of the same by You.

      Note: For no-cost EMI, the monthly payment to bank is calculated by dividing the cost of the product by number of installments selected by the customer while availing this facility, thereby the customer pays only the price of the selected product.

    6. HDFC Bank Instant Discount offer
      1. Offer - Get 5% up to Rs. 7500/- instant discount
      2. Product - Applicable on HDFC Bank CC EMI
      3. Offer applicable - TVSM Website through book online
      4. Offer period - Sept 2nd - Sept 30th 2024
      5. Minimum Transaction - Rs. 50K
      6. Valid on all tenure ie., 3,6,9,12,24 Months
      7. This offer is applicable on Jupiter 125, Scooty Pep+, Zest, XL 100, Sport, Radeon, Raider, iQube, Apache RTR Series (160 - 200), Apache RR 310, NTORQ
      8. Velocity - 1 txn per card during the offer period
  5. Vehicle Delivery

    Vehicle will be delivered to you by the selected dealer after clearance of all the payment dues by You.

  6. Cancellation/Refund
    1. Refunds on booking amounts will be made within 60 days of the date of cancellation.
    2. This amount is refundable till the point of making the full payment for purchasing the vehicle.
    3. Please note that once the full payment for the vehicle, including the accessories, has been made, the sale shall be deemed as complete, and cancellation or claim for any refund amount will not be possible
    4. You can initiate the cancellation request for any vehicle booked online by visiting www.tvsmotor.com. No cancellation shall be permitted at the dealership.
      1. If the cancellation request is raised beyond 90 days of the date of booking, then You have to additionally send an email to customercare@tvsmotor.com containing booking information along with Your bank account number, Bank and Branch IFSC code, a copy of cancelled cheque leaf which shows your name / Bank account number and IFSC code.
      2. After the cancellation request has been raised, it cannot be revoked back.
      3. You will not be charged with any cancellation charges for online booked vehicles except for Build To Order (BTO) vehicles. For BTO orders, cancellation charges are as below:

        Note: No refund will be offered once the vehicle is taken up for registration by the Dealer.
      4. our refund request will be initiated within 48 hours of your cancelled booking. This will only comprise the money that was paid to TVSM during the online booking procedure, excluding any appropriate cancellation fee.
      5. The issuer bank typically processes the refund within 7 to 10 business days after the refund was initiated.
      6. You will receive your refund in the same payment source that has been used to make your online vehicle booking. There are no provisions made for any cash refunds.
      7. If a cancellation request is made beyond 90 days from the date of booking, the refund will be processed manually. Such cancellation requests are not subject to the herein specified refund timeline.
  7. Assignment or Transfer

    You acknowledge and agree that Your booking is for delivery of Vehicle only to You and You will not transfer or assign rights granted to You under these Terms to any other third party.

  8. Collection of Information

    We may require certain information and documents from You for processing Your booking, complying with statutory requirements. You represent and warrant that all such information and documents will be true, complete and accurate. You will promptly notify Us of any change in the information provided to allow Us to update Our records. All collection, storage, use and disclosure of any information provided by You will be in accordance with Our Privacy Policy available at https//www.tvsmotor.com/Privacy-Policy

  9. Purchase Terms

    These Terms are applicable to the Booking of the Vehicle. You acknowledge that purchase of Vehicle will be subject to such additional terms and conditions as may be prescribed by Us including without limitation, the TVS General Terms and Conditions (collectively, the “Purchase Terms”). Such Purchase Terms are subject to change, and We recommend that You carefully read and understand all the prescribed Purchase Terms before proceeding with the purchase of the Vehicle and making the full payment.

  10. Limitation of Liability

    We will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with these Terms. Your sole and exclusive remedy and Our aggregate and cumulative liability for any material breach under these Terms will be limited to refund of the Booking Amount in the amount of valid cancellation.

  11. Disclaimer

    The Vehicle will in all material aspects be similar to the Vehicle presented or advertised in marketing or promotional campaigns. However, in view of Our endeavors to continuously innovate and improve Our products, We reserve the right to modify/alter the specifications, features and/or design of the Vehicle without prior notice and without any liability.

  12. Miscellaneous
    1. TVSM will not be responsible for any delay or failure to perform Our obligations under these Terms, where such delay or failure is due to any reasons beyond Our reasonable control.
    2. In the event any of these Terms is considered invalid or unenforceable, the legality and enforceability of remaining provisions will not be affected or impaired thereby. These Terms will be subject to the laws of India and any dispute hereunder will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru.
