Race enthusiasts were introduced to the concept of choosing to upgrade performance on the Ultimate Track Weapon with India’s first factory built customisation platform; TVS Built To Order. Performance, dynamism or flaunting 40 years of TVS racing legacy with the Race Replica graphics, customers could now choose how they push their limits on the track.
The TVS Apache RR 310 with Ride Modes and Throttle-By-Wire was launched. This upgrade added a category-first level of adaptability to our most powerful race machine, with ride modes that allow a racer to adapt.
The entire TVS Apache RTR Series receives RTFi powered engines, and other segment-first features such as Glide Through Technology (GTT). The 4V series also received the latest aggressively styled LED headlamp.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V born out of 6 times INMRC winning engine was launched to be the most powerful 160cc of its time. The machine delivered max power of 16.8 PS at 8,000 RPM, and a 0-60 of 4.73 seconds.
The first Apache super sport race machine – the TVS Apache RR 310 was launched. Powered by a 312.2cc liquid cooled engine, the machine was crafted in the wind tunnel and the dyno to be the Ultimate Track Weapon.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V – the flagship of the RTR Series - was launched. Powered by a 197.75cc powerplant that delivered 20.5 PS of max power at 8,500 RPM, it was the most powerful race machine in the series.
The TVS Apache Series underwent a significant transformation, with new styling and aggressive LED eyes. The beast-inspired headlamp inspired a sense of shock and awe, and this evolution significantly boosted the race presence of the Apache Series.
The first ever Indian motorcycle with ABS – the TVS Apache RTR 180 with Dual Channel ABS – was launched. The ABS delivered unmatched safety and gave racers the confidence to push themselves to the limit like never before.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 Fi was launched, and it was a category-first fuel injection race machine that heralded a new era of performance evolution.
The TVS Apache RTR 160, our first race machine was launched which would only grow further with the inception of the TVS Apache Series. It would go on to win multiple INMRC championships, and dominate the racetrack.
The first Apache – the TVS Apache 150 – was launched. The 147.5cc motorcycle was the first in a line of race machines that would revolutionize sports bike segment in India.
