Two Wheeler

The company registered total two wheeler sales of 159,346 units in May 2013 against 173,092 units recorded in May 2012. Domestic sales stood at 140,056 units in the month of May 2013 against 151,980 units in May 2012.

Motorcycles sales increased by 4% at 66,606 units in May 2013 against 64,134 units in May 2012. Scooters registered sales of 33,747 units in May 2013 against 38,833 units in the same month of the previous year.

Exports

The company's total exports grew by 7% increasing from sales of 22,817 units in the month of May 2012 to 24,393 units in May 2013. Two wheeler exports registered sales of 19,290 units in May 2013 against 21,112 units in May 2012.

Three Wheeler

The company witnessed a significant increase in the three wheeler segment with sales growing by 99% from 2,920 units in May 2012 to 5,805 units in May 2013.
