TVS Motor Company recorded 27% growth in sales during the month of May 2014, with total sales increasing from 165,151 units recorded in the month of May 2013 to 210,293 units in the current month.

Exports

The company's total exports grew by 42% with sales increasing from 24,393 units in the month of May 2013 to 34,623 units in May 2014. Two wheeler exports registered a growth of 40% with sales increasing from 19,290 units in May 2013 to 27,000 units in May 2014.

Two Wheeler

Total two wheeler sales increased by 26% from 159,346 units recorded in May 2013 to 201,234 units in May 2014. Domestic two wheeler sales registered a growth of 24% increasing from 140,056 units in May 2013 to 174,234 units in May 2014.

Scooters sales grew by 60% increasing from 33,747 units in May 2013 to 53,924 units in May 2014. Motorcycles sales grew by 28% increasing from 66,606 units in the month of May 2013 to 85,475 units in May 2014.

Three Wheeler

Three wheeler sales of the company registered an increase of 56%, growing from 5,805 units in May 2013 to 9,059 units in May 2014.
