We are approaching the end of 2023 and it has been an exciting year for the sub 400 cc segment which has remained the most heated segment with multiple launches. TVS Motor has also leapt ahead with the Apache RTR 310, its new motorcycle that comes with aggressive streetfighter design language and a host of segment-first features.
Attention to Detail
Starting with the instrument cluster of Apache RTR 310, this
new bike gets a 5” TFT screen Multi-information Race Computer
which happens to be the control hub of this performance machine. It has controls for Traction Control and Cruise Control, and
supports connectivity for smartphones,
helmet Bluetooth devices and GoPro. The system also comes with Voice Assist for
all-round control and digital document storage. Along with that, you also get a dedicated tab for
TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) at the bottom of the console.
The LED headlamps come with three levels of automatic adjustability for brightness depending on the speed of the bike.
During hard braking, the rear lamp flashes rapidly to make any vehicle behind aware of the bike slowing down.
Loaded to the Brim with Tech
TVS Apache RTR 310 is one mean machine, and the first-in-segment tech which it comes integrated with is way ahead of the competition.
TVS Motor is the first Indian OEM to integrate climate control seats (3 levels of heating and cooling options) along with cornering traction
control and cornering cruise control.
The most potent weapon in RTR 310’s arsenal is the Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control. This in-house developed system uses a
6D inertial measurement unit to adjust braking and power input to assist the rider during critical low-siding situations and counters
righting up while braking in bends.
Furthermore, this new naked sports bike features Supermoto ride mode that disengages the rear ABS while maximizing the power
output without intervention from any system - the perfect recipe to let you drift in style.

Riding Dynamics
To ensure versatile riding dynamics, the Apache RTR 310 comes with adjustable front and rear suspension which are honed and tuned by the experts from KYB. The rear mono-shock with monotube floating piston technology offers a sense of composure. Overall, the setup offers the required firmness for planted and stable riding dynamics when you pull the throttle.
One key area in which this new model of Apache (2023) excels is the weight. With a kerb weight of 169 kg,
the #Freestyler enjoys a superior power-to-weight ratio and offers better heat dissipation so that you can keep
freestyling all day long. Furthermore, the riding triangle is optimized for better load distribution on the shoulders,
thereby ensuring excellent steering control and good lower back comfort.
